Getting enough sleep is also important for a healthy brain. You do not have to be active all the time. Sleeping is a good way for someone to rest. Memory consolidation is an important process that can only take place when someone is sleeping. Failure to take a rest deprives the brain an important rest time, something that has a great impact on your short and long term memory. It is recommended that adults should sleep for seven to nine hours so that the entire brain as a whole can remain healthy.
Taking the right food is also important. To ensure that there is an improvement on your memory, you should take foods that are low in sugar. You would have to choose between taking sugar and keeping a good memory. A plethora of studies have shown that sugary drinks are major causes of the Alzheimer’s disease. This is because sugar reduces the brain volume. You should therefore take on the initiative to avoid sweets, cakes and juice today for the sake of your sharp memory.
